For those who are unaware of his name, Khalid bin Al Waleed was one of the esteemed companions of the Prophet Muhammad. Enjoyed the beginning of the book, regarding the time of Prophet and their first struggles and the very end of the book, especially the appendicies were much more informative than most of the book's main content! Otherwise, quite a boring book with a misleading title. The whole thing is just a collection of battles which Khalid participated and won, which is of course increadible and kind of interesting but it doesn't really go into Khalid as a person or his reactions to what was happening, which should have been a "biography's" main objective as I had hoped.

On the other hand, I didn't like the frivolity with which the author described some details he could have no knowledge about, like how the wind felt at 10pm in the night in 14th Hijri or some random stuff like that I am exaggerating of course.
